Ahead of the European elections in June 2024, Oatly and Patagonia teamed up to combat the worrying low voter turnout from past elections. With Oatly’s advertisement campaign ‘Voat! For the planet’, educational election programs for staff, as well as paid leave for employees to cast their ballot, both brands hope to encourage other companies to follow suit. In a joint statement they shared their message: ‘Business leaders of Europe, join us in mobilizing your employees, your communities and your customers to vote in the upcoming EU elections’.
