The company has been active in advocating for gun control measures and has publicly stated its support for stricter gun laws in the United States. The CEO Chip Bergh, announced a series of initiatives with which the long-established company will take a stand against gun ownership and thus against the powerful gun lobby NRA. Levi’s joined the largest gun control lobby "Everytown for Gun Safety" and invested a million into a fund to support youth anti-gun activists.
