The pharmaceuticals company GSK has a comprehensive anti-bribery and anti-corruption policy cocnering the firm's lobbying activity. The "ABAC" includes the dimensions "Legitimacy of intent", "Transparency", "Proportionality" and "No conflicts of interest or undue influence". The implementation of the guidelines is monitored by the ABAC Governance Board, a global GSK-Forum.

For these and other measures, GSK was awarded Category A of the Corporate Political Engagement Index 2018 by Transparency International UK. The index assesses the legitimacy of political engagement according to five criteria: 1. Control environment, 2. Political Contributions, 3. Responsible Lobbying, 4. Revolving Door. 5. Transparency.
