Dale Vince, CEO of the British clean energy provider Ecotricity, has committed his company to a proactive and responsible stance in lobbying for more stringent climate legislation. He argues that insufficient climate protection will damage companies of all industries in the long run and concludes that staying out of politics is therefore not an option. By channeling ecological concerns into genuinely political action, Ecotricity’s responsible lobbying policy goes some way towards transitioning from CSR to CPR.
