With its "27 percent of us - #KeineWirtschaftOhneWir" (#noeconomywithoutwe) campaign, the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) emphasizes the importance of people with a migration background for the country’s prosperity. In this context, the DIHK logo is being temporarily modified to make a statement against right-wing extremism.

DIHK President Peter Adrian stresses that "exclusion and hatred not only endanger our coexistence in a free and democratic basic order, but also our prosperity". The phrase "27 percent of us" indicates the proportion of people with a migration background in Germany’s working population. Adrian points out the contributions of these more than twelve million people and reckons that the maximum performance of the German economy can only be achieved through their involvement.
