In a joint statement, numerous German companies, including Evonik, Bosch, DB, VW, Metro, Audi, Sparkassengruppe and others, have publicly condemned Hamas' terrorist attack on Israel on 7 October and at the same time expressed their shock at the suffering of civilians in Israel and Gaza.

Under the hashtag #niewiederistjetzt (‘never again is now’), used at a demonstration in Berlin, the joint initiative takes an active stance against anti-Semitism. It aims to make clear that there is no place for hatred of Jews in Germany. The motto is a reminder of Germany’s historical obligation to safeguard Jewish life.
